How brokers use AI day to day: three concrete uses

· By Diane du Paty, CEO & co-founder · 1 min read

Panora received the first prize of the Onze Bis festival. A good moment to answer the question we are asked most: how do brokers actually use AI day to day? Three answers, and an analogy borrowed from Brian Chesky.

Thank you to the Onze Bis festival and its jury for this first prize. It belongs first to the brokers who have been building Panora with us since day one.

On stage, the question came quickly: concretely, how do brokers use AI today? Not in two years. Today, at nine in the morning, with forty unread emails.

Three answers

We build on site, with them. Before writing a line, we sit next to an account handler while they work. Panora’s workflows come from there: chasing documents, a renewal campaign, a quote on three portals. Not from a specification.

The broker keeps control of every action. The agent prepares, executes, proposes. The broker approves. This is not a launch precaution, it is the rule, and it will not change.

We plug into the tools that exist. The management software stays the reference. The mailbox stays the mailbox. The agent reads and writes there, with no migration and no re-keying. A brokerage does not have to change the way it works to benefit.

The tool and the eye

Brian Chesky, the founder of Airbnb, has an image I like. Everyone has Photoshop. Not everyone has the eye.

That is exactly it. AI will not make you a better broker. The advice, the relationship, the judgement on a risk: that is you, and it will stay you. What AI does is remove the 70% of data entry, document chasing and checks that keep you from exercising it.

It gives you back the time to be the broker your clients chose.
